How it works
A simple path from photograph to portrait.
You do not need to know anything about commissioning art. Start with the photograph you love and a few details about what you have in mind.
Send your photograph
Upload the image you want drawn. You can also describe the occasion, subject and any details that matter to you.
Reference review & quote
The image and commission requirements are reviewed so you receive a quote based on the actual portrait.
Drawing begins
The artwork is created by hand in graphite, with attention to likeness, expression, texture and tonal detail.
Finish & delivery
Once complete, the portrait is carefully prepared for delivery using the method agreed for your commission.
Choosing a photo
The best image is clear and meaningful.
Good lighting, visible facial detail and a natural expression give the strongest starting point. Avoid heavily filtered or very small screenshots when possible.
If you are unsure, send more than one option. Your reference can be reviewed before the commission moves forward.
Read the photo guideReady when you are
Your request does not commit you to an order.
Submit your photograph and requirements first. You can decide whether to proceed after the commission has been reviewed and quoted.
